An exploration of the void. I transformed an unfinished attic into quiet, comfortable room for work and study by embracing the structural quirks of the space. By raising the primary beams, integrating pre-fabricated bookshelves into the knee walls, and integrating mechanical systems into bespoke built-ins, I reclaimed and otherwise “leftover” space to create an elevated, expansive workroom.
